Hi everyone! My name is Melissa Hernandez. I am the youngest of six children from El Paso, Texas. I am also a first generation college student majoring in Sociology at the University of Minnesota Morris. My ambition is to attend graduate school and study college counseling or social work so that I can become an adviser, mentor and counselor for Latinos and other underrepresented groups.
