Hi i had a question i am a us citizen but my parents are undocumented on the fafsa i had originally put all 0's 1 or 2 months passed by and the private school that i thought i would be attending asked for my parents tax forms because they had to be verified. now they want my parents social security number but the problem is it isnt valid. im a us citizen so im pretty sure i cant be denied financial aid but i dont know what to do can someone please help?

Dear Junior,

Have you explained to the school that your parents do not have social security number because they are not U.S. citizens? You may want to explain to them. They cannot deny you financial aid. Since they already have your parent's tax forms, that is sufficient.
