Franco,

Thank you for reaching out to Latinos In College! I would highly advise you to check out financial aid resources (scholarships, grants, etc.) as you are approaching the end of your high school studies, as well as looking into the colleges/universities you want to attend. Go online and do a simple search into these areas, as there is a lot of information out there.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Best Regards,

Franco,
The answer is yes! Start looking for financial aid right away, so that way you don't feel rushed when you're a senior. Trust me, I feel the pressure. Like Juan said, I recommend that you check out this website for scholarship opportunities and more. Also, go talk to your school's counselor. Their job is to help you, and I have found them to be one of the best resources for scholarship information! Also, there are some scholarships available for high school juniors, so keep an eye out for those. A lot of juniors aren't already looking for scholarships, so you will have an advantage. If you have any more questions, feel free to post on the forums or on my blog here at Latinos in College. Thank you for reaching out!
Best of luck,
Carol Ciriaco
