I need a scholarships in order to continue in college.

My name is Yolanda Vera Reyes, I am studying in Norco College in Norco CA. I am attending college for many reasons: First, it is because I want to have a very good job where I can make good money and have a comfortable life. Second, it is because I am pursuing a career in social work in order to fulfill my purpose in life by helping people in need. Lastly, attending college satisfies my interest in learning and I derive an enjoyment from the challenge of the courses. I believe that being educated, indirectly is a way to improve and being involved with our society.

Those are all great reasons for you to pursue a college education! If you are in need of financial aid or scholarships, a great resource is your University's financial aid office. Ask them if they can direct you to any scholarships or awards for which you might be eligible. Schools usually have counselors you can talk to about your financial situation and they can let you know about scholarship opportunities offered directly from the school as well as through other organizations.
