How to get into a university in USA/London
October 03, 2011 02:53PM
Hi i am Ona, i am 15 years old and i live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I have always dreamt of attending college in USA/London, and luckily i have the support of my parents to do so. However, i always thought that studying abroad was beyond my reach, but when my mother heard about this website i instantly wanted to write and see if you could help me accomplish my dream. I would really appreciate if you could tell me which exams and which requirements are needed to apply for a college in USA/London. i previously attended a school with a good level of english, so my english backgrounds are not bad. Two years ago, i changed schools and right now i'm attending a school in which, even if i do have the regular english classes the level is not up to standard so as to be considered bilingual. So i am not given the opportunity to sit for internationally important exams, i sit only for the First Certificate in English (FCE) in 3rd year and the Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) in 5th year. Regarding my economic situation, it is not bad so i don't necessarily need a scholarship.
I'm writing now, because in two years i will graduate, so my plan is to prepare myself and sit for all the exams needed. I hope you can provide me with some useful information, as which exams i should sit for, what facilities do i have and which universities i should consider . I am not interested in a particular college, but if there's any chance on my attending a very prestigious college i would gladly do so.

I wrote this message in english because i din't know whether i should write in spanish or english, but if possible, i would like the answer to be written in spanish, just in case i have got any problems understanding it.

Thanks a lot
I hope you are able to answer soon!!

Hola Ona,

Mucha suerte!
