Hello Cecila,

To find out about Mariela’s conferences, you can follow us on Facebook where she posts her speaking engagements. (You can go to the main page of our website for our Facebook link).

For a list of websites for mentors, go to our “Resources” page and click on the link “Mentoring Programs.” You will find links to other websites with mentoring programs. I would also suggest that your son looks for local mentors in his community. For example, if he wishes to go into the medical field, he can approach his doctor. If he is interested in Art History he could go to a professor from his school that specializes in that area. The important thing is for your son to find someone who he looks up to and who he can go to for advice on his educational goals. You may also want go to any universities in the area to see if they have any mentorship services for high school students. Sometimes there are student organizations or students that offer mentoring.

Saludos,
Jazmin
