It's not just you. Many students suffer when they leave home for the first time. Find out ways to overcome the difficult times.
 
Campus Blues - A wonderful site to find lots of articles about overcoming homesickness, mental health, drugs, alcohol and sex, healthy eating habits and a lot more related to your college life.

Counseling Services -Homesickness, it's universal. Psychologists call it "separation anxiety" and few people are immune. It is experienced by the kindergartner going off to school, as well as the business person starting a new job. This website provides you a few tips to help you through it now or in the future.

ECampus Tour -Being homesick is very common among college students. If you feel sad and lonely, you think about your family all the time, you want to go home every weekend, and just feel generally depressed, then you are probably homesick. Fortunately, there are ways to cope with it. You’ll find great tips here!

Personal Counseling -The Penn State Erie, The Behrend College provides a PDF document with 31 pages of personal counseling to deal and overcome homesickness.

Skype -If you and your parents have Internet access, you can download this program to talk over the Internet for free.

Susan Kramer -This website gives you lots of meditation exercises which can help you overcome your homesickness and also achieve better concentration.

Wild Mind -This Buddhist meditation site allows you to teach yourself how to mediate, read about meditation, and find others for support.
