Early College High School Programs –A bold approach, based on the principles that academic rigor, combined with the opportunity to save time and money, is a powerful motivator for students to work hard and meet serious intellectual challenges. Early college high schools blend high school and college in a rigorous yet supportive program, compressing the time it takes to complete a high school diploma and the first two years if college. In this Website, you will find over 130 schools in 24 states participating in this particular program. Get your Associate’s degree free!

College Study Abroad Take a semester and go overseas to one of the many college study abroad program located in different cities in Europe that GSEA offers.

Latino Youth for Higher Education Program (LYHEP) – This group of students from Baruch College, lead by John Moreno, are in the process of becoming a non profit organization. LYHEP’s goal is to empower and provide high school students with the knowledge and tools needed to go to college. They currently work in two high schools in NYC and are looking to expand.

New Visions for Public Schools -This website guides students the four (4) years of high school with a calendar month by month. NewVisions ensures that all New York City public school students, regardless of race or economic class, can fully participate as citizens and economic actors nationally and internationally. It is also committed to sharing innovative tools, strategies and lessons in New Visions schools with others in New York and throughout the country to prove that meaningful change is achievable at scale and success is possible for every child.

Summer Programs for High School Students in NYC - A pre-college program for students entering grades 9 through 12 and freshman year of college who are interested in intensive summer study. It offers highly motivated students the opportunity of a lifetime: a world-class educational experience set in the most exciting city in the nation: NYC.

The Khan Academy -A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) with the mission of providing a world-class education to anyone, anywhere. It offers an ever-growing video library with user-paced exercises--developed as an open source project--allowing the Khan Academy to become the free classroom for the World. It focuses on Math, Science and Financial topics. Check it out, you’ll be amazed!

The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) – The NCLR Líderes Initiative is a national program designed to create opportunities for Latino youth and help them elevate their influence as leaders in the United States.
